November Wrap UP and December TBR

Hello Book Friends!  I hope you all having a wonderful Monday!

Last month was a bit of blur it all happened so fast.  I didn’t get a chance to read as much as I would have liked to!  I only ended up reading TWO books, and I haven’t read much else since. (And I am apparently really bad at reading the books I end up carrying over to the next month!  I might have to make a TBR pile next year of all those books in one month, >_<!)

I am slowly working my way through The Well of the Ascension by Brandon Sanderson, and re-reading Six of Crows, but I’m jumping back into reading new books today starting with the first book in my TBR pile for December.

Here are the two books I read in November.

1. A Holiday by Gaslight by Mimi Matthews

This is a SUPER cute historical romance novella that’s perfect for the holidays.  You can check out my review of it here: A Holiday by Gaslight!

2. Romanov by Nadine Brandes

romanov

I read Fawkes by Nadine Brandes earlier this year and absolutely fell in LOVE with the book.  It’s also historical fiction, but there’s a lot of truth to the history in her stories.

I kindly received an E-arc copy of Romanov, which doesn’t release until May 2019! I was so excited to have this copy.  I am going to do a review a bit closer to the release date, but this book, in my opinion was just as AMAZING.  I read that some people didn’t think this one was as good as Fawkes, but I think that the historical and fictional events are just different from each other. 🙂

You can check out my review of Fawkes here: Fawkes!

Okay, so that’s the end of my wrap up for November…

Here’s my December TBR!  I am only attempting TWO books this month, because well, this month is busy and last month that’s all I read! Hopefully I will read them all this month, and stick to it. >_<  I will attempt to return to normal status of at least 4 books in January. 🙂

1. Corspe and Crown by Alisa Kwitney

There is an ampersand symbol (&) on the cover of the book on net galley but it doesn’t seem to appear here.

This is an Oliver Twist re-telling and it looks FANATASTIC!  It’s also a e-arc that I received from the publisher through Netgalley! It comes out in February 2019, and I am really super excited to read it! 🙂

2. Restore Me by Tahereh Mafi

restoreme

I’ve been looking for a library copy of this ever since it released and I just stumbled upon an audio book copy of it today.  I’m not sure how this will go, because I read the physical copies of the first three books. But I am looking forward to the next chapter in this series and can’t wait to catch up with all the characters! 🙂

And that’s it for this month!  As, always thanks for reading!
